The reason why I started this;
is because I want to give thanks to God

1. For saving our lives – we found purpose in living

2. For His faithfulness – we know that He is real

3. For entrusting us – we have been given a unique testimony to share

God could have sent angels to us,
cause some miracles to take place in our lives, but no.

Individually, we’ve been exposed to the Gospel,
but we never came close to receiving Him into our hearts,
or seriously considered living our lives for Him...

Pa: During his university days,
he used to attend church meetings
occasionally with his uni friends

Ma: Back in 1993 or so,
she used to attend Lighthouse, Mandarin congregation.
Then, earlier in 1998, she started attending Cornerstone,
invited by her insurance agent, who later,
invited the rest of us to church 

Kor: He studied Bible Knowledge for his O levels.

Jie: She attended a Methodist kindergarden,
and later on, a Catholic secondary school

Me: All my life, I was in a Catholic school –
kindergarden, primary and secondary school.
I had that exposure to God in that environment,
but still, I wasn’t saved then.

He chose to take Kor away.

It was painful, but we’ve learnt to see the other side to life.
We’re blessed, so that we can be a blessing to others,
and our lives are a testimony for all to see.

 I was trying to think of a name,
something more related to Kor.
But I decided, I want this testimony
to impact people’s lives –
be it in their family, their thought life,
 their perspective on eternity etc.

I just want peoples’ lives to be changed,
to be transformed.
And since I have such a testimony,
why not share it and
pray that changes
will take place for the better?

May all who has read this testimony
come to know God someday,
